In the beginning, there was the beginning
In 1978, Marlène and Gérard, passionate about cooking and hospitality, made their dream come true by creating our motel-restaurant. Marlène, from the world of real estate, and Gérard, a gourmet chef, seized a unique opportunity to bring their project to life.
From the beginning, the restaurant became a central place in their lives, where they grew and evolved alongside their loyal customers with their children Sandra and Cédric.
Next to the restaurant, a campsite with a swimming pool quickly became famous beyond borders. Memories of this time are still visible today, with the rails of the campsite's little train preserved in the parking lot in front of our establishment.
Over the years, the motel-restaurant has grown and evolved, reflecting Marlène and Gérard's continued commitment to conviviality.

In 2015, a tornado full of crazy ideas arrived at Treize.
Determined to break the rules, Sandra began to shake up the quiet little world of the Valais people by offering them afterwork evenings on a Wednesday evening (because, why not?) and fondue evenings on the terrace, in the middle of winter (because fondue , even standing in the cold, it's always a good idea, right?).
With her radiant smile and contagious joie de vivre, she embodies hospitality in all its splendor. Always attentive, warm and attentive, she carefully ensures that each client feels at home.
